BAZUKA – INDE

This time, l’artiste se tourne vers l’Inde pour chanter la paix avec la chanteuse Anu SHUKLA et le musicien arrangeur Indien Kiran THAKRAR. Après avoir dénoncé la violence faite aux femmes, APPOLOSS prend son djembé de voyageur pour le poser en Inde avec une fusion Afro-Indou remplie d’espoir pour tous les enfants victimes de la guerre dans le monde.

1- BAZUKA

ANU SHUKLA : Chanteuse

Née au Chili en 1970 fait des études de musique entre 1988 and 1996 et obtient son diplôme d’interprétation Superior au conservatoire de l’Universidad Catolica de Chili. Depuis une dizaine d’années il participe a divers projets de musique du monde et autres (salsa, afro, reggae, traditionnelle latino-américaine et centro américaine, jazz fusion) et participe a diverses tournées en Europe, Afrique, Asie, Antilles.

Le voyage musical de Anu Shukla a commencé dès l’âge de 12 in Nairobi (Kenya), après quoi elle a déménagé en Angleterre où elle a remporté le meilleur prix pour les chanteuses « Tous les chanteurs Hindi du Royaume-Uni». Her recent collaboration with American singer and RnB superstar Ginuwine for the song Baby Dil Deewana was No. 2 in the BBC Indie charts and No. 7 in the BBC RnB charts for which she wrote and sang on the single.

In 1994, she was invited by the German group renowned Dissidenten (qui a remporté le prix pour les meilleures ventes du CD de musique du monde « Livre de la Jungle » aux Etats-Unis). She traveled with them in Germany, Austria and Spain for "Jungle Book", which is the fusion of Indian music and jazz. Anu with her melodious soul voice has touched audiences around the world. Her most memorable performances of the show in Mumbai (India) where she plays alongside Bali Bhrambhatt and Malkit Singh to an audience of 60.000 people. She was invited to perform for the royal family, Universal Pictures, Louis Vuitton and collaborated with Bill Bailey, Ginuwine and many more.

Anu has recently performed live with the Legendary Bollywood, Music Director Ravindra Jain Pandit who also wrote a title for her next album. Anu has worked in the studio and on stage for artists such as Pandit Dinesh, Sukhbir Singh, Channi Singh, Mona Singh, Heera, Kuljit Bhamra and many others. She sang on several albums such as "LoveExpress", «Moving Out » . She also did the reading of famous pieces like "MAA" and has made numerous television appearances such as , BBC, Zee TV, etc. Anu travaille actuellement sur son premier album.

 

KIRAN THAKRAR : Musicien joueur de Tabla / Arranger

Kiran Thakrar is an Indian composer, producer and London-based, keyboard player. Il travaille, vis et respire la musique depuis plus de 30 years. He created his own recording studio Globalrootz. His music has been heard in the biggest TV channels in the world such as BBC, Sky, ITV and many others for whom he produced the album "music production" specially commissioned by Universal Music Production. Programs include "The Real Shilpa Shetty, Desi DNA ',"Indian schools" and much more. He has just composed the original score for the film "Diana", qui a été présenté dans plusieurs festivals internationaux et a remporté deux prix. Sa dernière collaboration est l’arrangement musical de l’album «Au-delà les frontières», récompensé au Canda par le JUNO (connu sous le nom de «Grammy du Canada»). Kiran vient de terminer la composition de ‘Baby’ ou figure Anuk Shukla et Ginuwine star américaine de RnB. He played in more than 4000 concerts around the world and worked with some of the greatest artists : Ustad Nusrahat Fateh Ali Khan, Zakir Hussein, Sivamani, Ginuwine, James Asher, Bill Bailey, Hariharan, Richa Sharma, Hans Raj Hans, Sadhna Sargam, Bollywood music directors Nadeem Shravan, Ravindra Jain, and many others.

Currently Kiran is busy producing the music for short films and other private albums. Son vif intérêt pour la technologie musicale conduit Kiran à explorer les mondes de l’informatique, programming and found the opportunity to pioneer fusions of East and West. Kiran explores the creative integration of modern technological processes, and the mixture of large elements to evolve towards new musical genres.
